Solar car breaks distance record

Sun Supermaket – Marcelo Da Luz began an epic journey to become the world record holder of distance traveled by a solar car. “I wanted to fulfill a dream,” Da Luz said. “And along the way, promote the use of clean, renewable energy.” Setting off from Buffalo New York, on the shores of the Great Lakes, Da Luz headed north and west, becoming—46 days later—the first solar car to reach the Arctic Circle. He then headed south, surpassing the world distance record of 9,070 miles as he passed through Victoria, British Columbia.  via ACORE>>
